LEONARD P. MARINELLO

 

LEONARD P. MARINELLO was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1991. Mr. Marinello concentrates in the practice areas of banking litigation, commercial litigation, business loan litigation, mortgage foreclosures and commercial debt collection.


Mr. Marinello has extensive experience in all areas of commercial debt collection and post-judgment proceedings including asset location and seizure, property and income executions, and post-judgment debtor/witness examinations. He also practices in federal bankruptcy courts representing secured and unsecured creditors.


Mr. Marinello regularly litigates promissory note and guarantee actions, mortgage foreclosures, predatory lending, lender-liability, consumer finance actions, loan servicing issues and mortgage fraud actions.


Mr. Marinello also practices in the areas of real property title insurance matters, real estate transactions and wills and probate administration.


Mr. Marinello graduated from Columbia College in 1987 on the Dean's List with a degree in economics and Columbia University Law School class of 1990, as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.
